Other: Limestone, mudstone, sandstone and siltstone with subsidiary coal, ironstone and seatearth sandstone. Stratified bedrock. Occurs onshore. Deposited during the Brigantian Substage - to - Langsettian Substage (Carboniferous Period) (330.9-318 Ma BP). Sequences of sandstones, siltstones, mudstones, limestones, ironstones, coals and seatrocks; commonly cyclic; marine faunas common in lower parts of cycles. Up to about 1500m. Drawn at base of lowest limestone of the Lower Limestone Formation; normally conformable. Drawn at conformable upward passage from Passage Formation to Lower Coal Measures.
